the unboxing experience
For months, I poured my heart and soul into this project. Now, it is finally here. No longer confined to my computer screen, my book is in my hands, its weight substantial and real. Opening the package a wave of emotions washed over me-relief, joy, and a touch of disbelief. This was it. My book. And it is what I wanted to express. For me, at least, it’s stunning. But that is up to the rest of the world to decide.

The next journey already started. Deep dive into printing research. How to find a company that offers a good price while maintaining quality. The quality of the first copy is superb, but price wise not economically feasible. But Pumbo, a Dutch printer and publisher seems the right one for now. Pumbo is unique because they offer all options within the printing, distribution and marketing process. They offer reasonable prices for smaller print runs. If somebody has any experience with this company, please let me know.
First, I need to edit the book again in different software. The current file type is specific to the printing company I used. So, I have to generate a new printable PDF using InDesign. From there I will order a test print.
And my web shop?
Finally, I took the right step and went to the Chamber of Commerce. I am now a proud owner of an own business :)

To open my web shop will still take some time. It might seem tempting to rush into it. However, there are several good reasons why waiting and planning can be beneficial. Think about product development, inventory management, marketing and SEO …
I will keep everybody updated.
Any comments or suggestions are welcome. I am still learning. And, don’t forget to subscribe on my website.
