This time it is not about vacation in Finistere. It’s about another wonderful destination.
I have been in Italy several times now and have really enjoyed promenading in the evening. Socializing after work and before dinner is called Passeggiata in Italian. Strolling along to find a bar or bench where you can take in the scene is part of life throughout the country. During these evening walks I noticed that carousels are now, more than ever, an attraction for adults and children alike. When the sun sets and the Passeggiata continues after dinner, the carousels are a beacon of light. And this is when it starts to become magic for me. Not the people but the colorful light against the darkness, especially when abandoned by everybody else.
I have two images, which I would like to share today. Only two, and I can’t wait for the next trip to Italy.
